I’m Dr. Sara Pol-Lim, a Mom, Author, and Community Educator running to ensure that ALL students, regardless of background or circumstance, can access high-quality schools that foster academic achievement, personal growth, and long-term opportunity.

My commitment is rooted in my lived experience arriving to the U.S. as a refugee in 1983 after years without access to education. I believe that resilience must be nurtured through intentional support, as I advanced through the school system with the help of ESL programs and dedicated teachers, and eventually earned a Doctorate in Education.

Our schools must learn from history and invest thoughtfully in systems that guide, protect, and nurture EVERY student.
